1st April is known for pranks and the crypto community also decided to play some pranks.

CoinMarketCap participated in pranks by announcing the ‘Toilet Paper Token’ as a number one cryptocurrency whose circulating supply went out of stock.
CryptoPotato
CryptoPotato fooled the community by stating that Satoshi Nakamoto had predicted the outbreak of Coronavirus in the White Paper of Bitcoin. They made-up the white paper of bitcoin and published the image where it stated that the economic system can come to a standstill “in times of severe economic recessions or by the outbreak of a novel virus”. However, CryptoPotato happily accepted that it was just a prank.
Trust Wallet
The tweet of Trust Wallet claimed that Craig Wright has been confirmed as Satoshi Nakamoto but admitted in the below line that it was a prank.
Finance Magnet
Finance Magnet broke the news that Craig Wright won the Kleiman case as he was able to send a transaction from one of the Bitcoin wallets known to belong to Bitcoin creator ‘Satoshi Nakamoto’”.

Tweeted a post of launching a new energy drink that looks similar to Monster energy drink. Many twitter users appreciated their tweets and showed interest in buying the one.
This is how the crypto community enjoyed the day by playing pranks. However, among these pranks, it became hard to find out the truth as to what was real and what was just a prank.
On 1st April, the Monero Outreach Organization published an article that according to new research the bitcoin creator, Satoshi Nakamoto has also created Monero. The published articles showed similarities between both coins’ whitepapers in terms of word use and image style.
