Buy A Coke With Crypto In Australia And New Zealand
The digital asset integrator, Centrapay has signed agreements with Coca-Cola Amatil in New Zealand and Australia to allow antipodeans to pay using their Sylo Smart Wallet for items across Amatil's vending network using cryptocurrency.
The buyer can scan the QR code payment sticker located at the front of the Bitcoin vending machines in Australia and New Zealand and would accept cryptocurrency payments with a scan of the phone camera when the Sylo Wallet app is installed.
Centrapay technology aims to make it easy for the consumers, the merchants, and the machines to leverage the digital assets in the physical world via Bitcoin vending machines. Centrapay supports brands in connecting with individuals and increasing the revenue and operational efficiency for the merchants.
The technology will be beneficial during this pandemic as it will reduce the number of people touching the vending machine.
The CEO of Centrapay, Jerome Faury said that the complexity of integration and the poor user experience is the major barrier to the adoption of the Web 3 technology like digital identity and digital assets. Further, he added that they have solved both issues. Centrapay is coming up with new ideas that would create a new internet of value and would bring the resultant benefits to the consumers and the merchants.
The CEO also shared the idea of growing the business globally. However, they have already established their presence in North America and next they would be targeting the U.S. market.
