Bitcoin Wallets With More Than 100 BTC Reach 6 Months High
Glassnode a crypto data provider, stated that 16,159 Bitcoin wallets currently hold over 100 Bitcoins.
These details were revealed yesterday and the company also shared that the wallet figure has gone past the previous six-month high of 16,158, recorded on June 8.
Moving further, Glassnode highlighted the number of non-zero Bitcoin addresses has reached new heights of 31,913,355, including about 5,000 added in the past 24 hours.
In the first week of October, analyst and market cyclist Cole Garner reported a two-year increased record in the new Bitcoin addresses.
As per the data of Glassnode, Garner finds out that 22,000 new Bitcoin “entities” had appeared in a single day — a significant jump above the normal figure of 5,000 to 10,000 per day.
Back in May, bitcoin wallets consisting of an on-zero number of coins crossed the 30 million mark for the first time. More than 99% of these wallets contain less than the once-modest sum of 10 BTC.
