Atari to Launch Virtual Crypto based Casino

Atari- the Gaming Company, is best known for its iconic games like Pacman and Pong. In a press release today, it announced plans to develop a crypto casino in the Ethereum-based virtual world of Decentraland. The proposed casino will be built in the gaming district of “Vegas City” and leased for an initial 2-year term- Coindesk reports

The new casino will include Decentral Games’ technology and feature Atari-themed games, of which one game will be completely based on skill rather than luck.

By gambling the tokens like MANA, DAI, and Atari, players will earn Decentral Games’ native token ($DG). As per Decentral Games’ website, players can earn $DG liquidity incentives by providing liquidity in Balancer or Uniswap AAM pools. Anyone staking $DG can “govern the casino bankroll.” If the treasury reaches $500,000, players can vote to allocate funds.

In a statement, Frederic Chesnais- Atari CEO, said, “Through collaborating with Decentral Games, we can move the Atari gaming experience onto the blockchain.”
