XRP Asia Launches to Propel XRPL Adoption in the Asia-Pacific Region
XRP Asia has officially launched, with significant backing from Ripple and the XRP Ledger Foundation, to enhance the adoption of the XRP Ledger (XRPL) across the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Singapore, this initiative is set to provide crucial resources for developers and startups looking to build on the XRPL.
The organization aims to create a thriving ecosystem by offering developer education, startup assistance, and community programs. This strategic move comes as XRPL gains global momentum, highlighting the importance of the Asia-Pacific market, which hosts key digital asset hubs.
Leading the initiative is Sabrina Tachdjian, who previously served as vice president of fintech and payments at the Hedera Foundation. Under her guidance, XRP Asia plans to build on existing efforts in Korea and Japan while fostering new communities in other Asian cities.
To support developers, XRP Asia will provide scalable learning materials, practical application development opportunities, and ongoing technical assistance. The program includes hackathons and dedicated office hours, designed to cater to the needs of developers in the region.
Additionally, the organization will assist startups by connecting them with partners, funding opportunities, and infrastructure providers. This effort builds on Ripple's previous initiatives, including the Japan and Korea Fund, which supports ledger development through grants and investments.
XRP Asia is committed to fostering collaboration and innovation within the XRPL community and welcomes feedback to enhance its support for builders across the region.
