Voyager Crypto Asset Broker Buys French Crypto Exchange ‘LGO’
Voyager Digital Limited is the top and a most prominent crypto-asset broker. The company has acquired a France based cryptocurrency exchange firm, LGO markets, whose focus is on getting corporate institutions to invest in the crypto market.
As per the deal, the two firms will know as Voyager and their two separate crypto tokens, VGX, and LGO will merge to become one token. These merged tokens will have DeFi features, and a 7% initial interest rate.
In the list of Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE), the Voyager crypto-asset firm has been listed. LGO has a Virtual Asset Service Provider license, which was granted to it by the French authorities. This new deal enables Canadian based firm to be able to access the European market as it would be using and depending on the license of its latest acquisition to access the market.
LGO from 31st October will be shifting its focus away from institutional investors only. Voyager also has to issue up to a million shares, which would partly determine the cost of the deal. Tokens of both firms will also determine the value of the acquisition.
However, the merger of two firms Voyager and LGO is under regulatory reviews as the firms believe that the deal’s approval would be gotten before the end of this year.
