Tokenized Real-World Assets Market Reaches $46.7 Billion, Ethereum Leads with 49.6% Share
The market for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) has achieved a remarkable milestone, now valued at $46.7 billion as of September 15, 2026. This represents a staggering 17.4-fold increase over the past three years, showcasing significant growth across various asset classes including credit funds, gold, and equities.
Ethereum continues to dominate this burgeoning market, holding a substantial 49.6% share, which translates to approximately $22.9 billion. However, competitors like Solana and Robinhood Chain are rapidly gaining traction, indicating a competitive landscape.
Notably, no single issuer commands more than 10% of the market, highlighting a healthy diversification. Securitize leads with $4.6 billion, closely followed by Sky at $4.5 billion and Ondo at $3.5 billion. This diversification is a strong indicator that tokenization is evolving beyond its experimental roots.
Tokenized credit funds have emerged as a significant segment, now valued at $6.4 billion, while tokenized gold accounts for $5.1 billion. This trend reflects a growing acceptance of crypto infrastructure to package traditional assets, making them more accessible to investors.

As the RWA market continues to evolve, the focus is shifting towards liquidity, collateral use, and secondary trading, positioning tokenized assets as a vital component of the on-chain economy.
