These 7 Billionaires Lost $144B Since Bitcoin Hit All time High
The bitcoin price dips, and it triggered the market along with 7 notable billionaire investors. The top 7 investors- Changpeng Zhao, Samuel Bankman-fried, Brian Armstrong, Mike Novogratz, Fred Ehrsam, Tyler Winkelvoss, and Cameran Winkelvoss lost $144 billion since bitcoin’s all-time high.
All the investors around the world are facing massive losses, while seven prominent investors have lost a combined $144 billion.
The flagship Cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, reached an all-time high of $68,789 in November. Bitcoin holds more than 45% of the market share. However, in mid of April, BTC started facing reds on its way and lost almost 69% of its value now trading around $21,025.
The Bitcoin dip affected the market and billionaire investors Changpeng Zhao, Samuel Bankman-fried, Brian Armstrong, Mike Novogratz, Fred Ehrsam, Tyler Winkelvoss, and Cameran Winkelvoss losst Billions.
Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of the largest Crypto Binance has held $95.8 billion when bitcoin hit an all-time high. Now he has $10.2 billion with an 89% of the loss.
The CEO of FTX and American entrepreneur Samuel Bankman-fried (SBF) once held $15.1B in cryptocurrency at the time of BTC blooms. SBF now is at a loss of 41%, worth nearly $6.2B. Currently, he has only $8.9B in crypto assets.
Another CEO of top Crypto exchange, Coinbase, Brian Armstrong, lost 84%, nearly $11.6B from $13.7B which he holds before the bitcoin downtrend.
American investor and CEO of Galaxy Investment Partners, Mike Novogratz is at a loss of 75% as his crypto investment fell from $8.5B to $6.4B.
Fred Ehrsam, the co-founder of Paradigm crypto investment firm invested $4.5B in Crypto before the bitcoin winter season, and he lost 53% of the profit worth $2.4B, now he holds $2.1B
