Renault And The Sandbox Partners To Offer Web3 Automotive Experiences
The Sandbox, an Ethereum-based gaming metaverse announced that it has collaborated with automaker Renault Korea Motors to offer automotive services in the metaverse.
Renault Korea Motors is the South Korean subsidiary of Renault SA and was founded 27 years ago, one of the biggest automakers in the world by production volume. It offers a varied range of cars, including electric models and crossovers.
The partnership aims to provide users with new ways to experience cars in the virtual space. Also, Renault and The Sandbox will launch marketing campaigns with various brands.
Both companies plan to o build a long-term relationship to attract potential users, especially young individuals who are familiar with the digital world.
CEO of The SandBox said, “this partnership is an excellent example of a collaboration The Sandbox can develop without any industrial boundaries. We are able to introduce new types of experiences that combine automobiles and digital assets in The Sandbox.”
The CEO of Renault Korea also shared some thoughts, “the new digital journey that our company is preparing is intended to provide clients with an expanded brand experience and familiarize them with the brand.”
Renault has now joined the league that is jumping into the metaverse to build innovations and features to create new experiences for users.
At the start of this year global financial services provider HSBC also entered into the metaverse after partnering with The Sandbox. Additionally, two months back, KEB Hana Bank, the South Korean-based commercial bank also partnered with The Sandbox to open a virtual branch in the metaverse.
