Now Host A Decentralized Crypto Exchange via WordPress
The new WordPress plugin lets people launch a cryptocurrency exchange on any WordPress-based website. The project is named as Wpcryptoexchange developed by the Tim Draper-backed startup Draper Goren Holm.
The blockchain startup claims that it is the first crypto decentralized exchange or DEX plugin designed for leading website backend software, WordPress.
As per the announcement made on 22nd April, the plugin is an easy way to launch a cryptocurrency exchange not just engineers but for everyone.
Tim Draper stated,
“Everyone, not just engineers, can now launch their own crypto exchanges on WordPress using the plugin our team built.”
The plugin makes it possible for the websites to feature an on-site DEX which enables users to exchange between a long list of cryptocurrencies, tokens, and stablecoins. Also, the owner of the website can earn fees for the service.
The backend of plugins uses API of decentralized finance or DeFi, aggregator, or application programming interface. With the help of this API’s the plugin searches cryptocurrency trading prices live and showcases the best of it among the DeFi ecosystem and chooses one of them. Alon Goren, the founding partner of Draper Goren Holm, stated that they chose WordPress because of its popularity.
“WordPress powers 35% of the web and is undeniably the easiest, most customizable solution for anyone to power their websites.”
The world of the DeFi ecosystem has seen the increasing rate of developments. Blockchain firm CEO, Trustology said, that he believes DeFi protocols could soon emerge as the world’s dominant liquidity pool if scaled effectively.
