Iran To Use Crypto To Evade USA And UN Sanctions
The General of Iran Saeed Muhammad has asked to use cryptocurrencies in the country. To avoid the sanctions that are put on Iran by the United Nations and the USA, the Iranian general has come up with this solution.
The USA sanctions on Iran have caused the country to stay out of international trade. As Cryptocurrencies are decentralized Iran can use them for international trade. One of the local reports states that the General told to evade sanctions, the country should work on it like bringing the exchange products and using cryptocurrencies with their partners in other countries.
Iran is one of the countries among other countries that are planning to make use of cryptocurrencies to circumvent. Previously, North Korea was charged for making the use of cryptocurrencies to fund its ballistic missile programs and execute international trade. To avoid US sanctions, Kim Jong-un held a crypto and blockchain conference. The US officials had also arrested Ethereum researcher for visiting the North Korea conference and sharing info related to crypto. Venezuela has also faced similar issues to get around the sanctions.
