How Bitcoin Can Be A Solution To Vaccine Scams
The vaccine for covid-19 named Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine has started spreading all over the US but there are scammers ready to take advantage.
The US government is warning people to stay away from the vaccine scammers who are demanding their personal information in a swap of the vaccine. Some companies are selling fake treatments in the name of Covid-19. The FBI has informed CNN that scammers are targeting the public through fake vaccines and getting their personal information and money.
The FBI is taking serious actions to prevent scammers from exploiting people. The Federal Trade Commission ( FTC) has sent warning letters to those companies who are making claims without any backing. They have also shared this via news release to alert people of such scams.
There is one solution through which we can differentiate between scammers and real ones by paying with bitcoin.
Bitcoin could be the best solution to tackle such scams as it has a unique peer-to-peer ability as well as its capacity to keep people’s identity a secret. If a user pays in bitcoin they don’t need to share their information or reveal identity. Through blockchain one can make sure that information and money are sent only to the person that needs to receive it.
As bitcoin is decentralized it does not require a central force to process transactions. If there is no central force means no corruption.
The ability of bitcoin to secure your information makes it trustworthy and ensures the right person receives it.
