The Public Health Blockchain Consortium (PHBC) has released a blockchain monitor that will track the movement in virus-free zones and to make sure that no infected person enters the earmarked safe zones.

China president, Xi Jinping believes that blockchain technology can help to overcome the crisis. He believes that the world needs more effective social governance for which blockchain can be useful.
Currently, all the governments are taking severe steps to suppress the spread of the virus utilizing the most advanced technologies. The PHBC is the association of healthcare service professionals, researchers, and universities who are committed to gather, store and manage healthcare data using blockchain to enhance the world healthcare services.
The Netherlands-based blockchain startup Qlikchain’s CEO has brought a new Blockchain monitor feature. He said it is not like any existing surveillance monitors which emphasize on movements of an infected person.
The PHBC blockchain monitor identifies and earmarks safe zones where there have been no confirmed cases of coronavirus. Blockchain monitor stores and updates real-time data and embeds the information that is received from surveillance providers who use a combination of technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) geographical information systems (GIS).
Through blockchain monitor contributions, the individuals and communities from the safe zones could halt their movements towards the danger zone. Practically it safeguards the non-infected community by not letting them move through risk-prone areas.
The blockchain monitor keeps the record of the protection certificates which are given to authorities at workplaces and communities. The monitor identifies an individual from the safe zone who has been to the infected areas and automatically prompts a quarantine requirement.
