Here Comes ‘LKSCOIN’ Cryptocurrency To Protect Copyright for Social Media Content
The LKS Foundation is an Italian non-profit foundation known for promoting and spreading knowledge related to blockchain and fintech. The foundation has introduced a new cryptocurrency named LKSCoin (LKS). The cryptocurrency is meant for those who create and publish content online and aims to protect copyright issues.
LKSCoin is able to track the content on social media platforms along with the general content posted by the publishers on the web. This makes it the fastest payment method of digital content published on social media platforms.
The number of social media users is growing day by day and that leads to the increasing demand for digital content. So it's not the content writer who gets benefits but the social media platform and its difficult to protect the copyright of digital content created by users. As a result, the LKS Foundation created a tool that will help the content creators to acquire the beneficiaries and not the platform that posts the content.
LKS Foundation introduces LKSCoin Cryptocurrency as a solution which is a currency of non-fungible tokens and contents. This cryptocurrency will solve copyright-related issues and provide authorship to the content creator. According to LKS Foundation, there are around a hundred million users who write online content but they don't earn anything from it and also don't have authorship for the same.
Cam.TV is the first social media platform that integrated LKSCoin and conducted testing for the past one year. Cam.TV video chat platform and as of now it records 20,000 LKS transactions on an average every day.
