Citi Raises Bitcoin Price Target to $113K, Predicts $5 Billion in Crypto ETF Inflows

Citi has significantly raised its 12-month Bitcoin price target to $113,000, marking a 38% increase from its previous estimate. The bank also revised its Ether target to $3,028, reflecting a 35% boost. This optimistic outlook comes as Citi anticipates $5 billion in inflows into cryptocurrency investment products over the next year, driven by increased allocations from financial advisors.

The bank's updated forecasts are based on a resurgence in demand and favorable economic conditions. According to Citi analyst Alex Saunders, these projections stem from a combination of heightened cryptocurrency activity, macroeconomic factors, and renewed ETF inflows. The recent activity in the market has been bolstered by regulatory developments from the SEC, which have helped restore investor confidence.

In the week ending September 25, U.S. Bitcoin funds experienced a remarkable $2.39 billion in net inflows, the highest since October 2025. Ether products also saw significant interest, attracting $689.88 million during the same timeframe. This trend of increased investment has been pivotal in shaping Citi's revised price targets.

Despite the positive momentum, Bitcoin and Ether have faced challenges this year, with Bitcoin down approximately 3% and Ether about 9%. However, the recent inflows and price recoveries indicate a potential turnaround for both assets.

Citi's forecast reflects a broader trend in the cryptocurrency market, where increased advisor allocations and favorable regulatory news are expected to drive future growth. The bank's analysis highlights the importance of ETF inflows and market conditions in shaping investor sentiment and price expectations.
