Blockchain And Cryptocurrency Documentaries Airs To Viewers On Discovery Science Channel
Discovery Science broadcasted a series of documentaries related to crypto and blockchain on 4th July. The documentary gave special importance to the rise of the Walt Disney-developed blockchain platform called Dragonchain.
Discovery Science channel’s documentary named Open Source Money about crypto and blockchain that was aired on 4th July gives a quick look at what the future would look like if the much-awaited crypto and blockchain uprising sets out. These documentaries will be played throughout the summer and many episodes will be broadcast every week.
The series will also show the story of Joe Roets, the one who founded and launched Dragonchain between extensive speculation and triggered public interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain. Roets has 20 years of experience in leading the growth of several technology startups, financing several promising projects, and designed a hybrid blockchain platform for B2B applications in 2017 that helped companies to adopt blockchain in spite of having limited resources.
The projects of Disney and Facebook will be also shown in the documentaries. Regardless of receiving criticism and resistance for their projects, the two organizations continued their vision to bring cryptocurrency to millions.
The documentaries will talk about the leaders who brought crypto and blockchain revolution. It includes personalities like Brock Pierce, a Bitcoin billionaire who just declared his US presidential candidacy for 2020 elections, Cardano’s Charles Hoskinson, the architect of the world’s most popular token project, and former Overstock CEO, Patrick Byrne.
In the television network, Discovery Channel is the most viewed and by emphasizing topics like cryptocurrency and blockchain, it hopes to build interest and attract the participation of people for the new technology.
