Bitwise Unveils NEAR ETF with 5% Yield, Tapping into AI and Crypto Synergy
Bitwise has officially launched its NEAR ETF, trading under the ticker NRR on NYSE Arca, providing U.S. investors with a new avenue to engage with the NEAR token.
This innovative fund not only offers spot exposure to NEAR but also aims to capitalize on staking rewards, currently estimated at around 5%. The management fee for the ETF is set at 0.75%.
According to Bitwise, NEAR is strategically positioned at the intersection of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency, making it a compelling investment as the demand for AI-driven solutions continues to rise.
NEAR’s unique transaction protocol, known as Near Intents, has seen significant growth, processing over $32 billion in transactions. The network boasts an impressive transaction finalization time of approximately 1.2 seconds, with a consistent uptime record over its six years of operation.
Unlike traditional spot products, the NEAR ETF will stake its holdings, allowing investors to benefit from both the token's market appreciation and the rewards generated from securing the network.
