Bitcoin ETFs Attract $134M in Inflows, Totaling $2.98B Over Seven Days
In a notable surge, Bitcoin ETFs attracted $134.47 million in inflows on Friday, extending their impressive streak to seven consecutive days. This brings the total inflows for the week to approximately $2.98 billion, reflecting a robust institutional appetite for cryptocurrency investments.
Blackrock's Bitcoin ETF, IBIT, continued to lead the charge, drawing in $96.99 million, while Fidelity's FBTC contributed $49.32 million. Despite the overall positive trend, Bitwise’s BITB experienced a decline, shedding $11.85 million.
The consistent inflow of capital into Bitcoin ETFs signals a strong institutional backing for the digital asset, especially after a period of volatility earlier in September. This trend is further supported by Ether ETFs, which also reported significant inflows, totaling $86.95 million over six consecutive days.
Solana ETFs emerged as a standout, attracting $86.67 million, indicating a growing interest in altcoins alongside Bitcoin. The total trading volume for these assets reached $2.26 billion, with net assets closing at $108.42 billion.
As the week concludes, market observers are keen to see if this inflow momentum will continue into the next week or if there will be a shift towards outflows. The current landscape suggests a broadening demand across the cryptocurrency market, with institutional investors diversifying their portfolios.
