Binance Plans To Acquire CoinMarketCap For $400 Million
According to the report by The Block, Binance the leading cryptocurrency exchange is planning to acquire the crypto data analysis company- CoinMarketCap for $400 Million.
This deal has reached its final stage and we will soon get an official announcement regarding the same. Binance has been acquiring many companies from the past couple of years.
This deal would be one of the largest acquisitions in the crypto space when completed. However, Binance and CoinMarketCap have not shared any more details regarding the deal.
CoinMarketCap has over 207.2 million visitors in the last six months and is one of the best crypto data aggregators. While Binance has 113.8 million visitors in the last six months.
At the beginning of this year, Binance CEO, CZ said that they are planning to acquire two big firms for which they are “very excited”. CZ said that these would be the “major” and will have a “significant impact.” This acquisition could be one of those deals.
This year we saw Binance has acquired the Indian crypto exchange Warzix, blockchain analysis firm DappReview and Seychelles-based derivatives platform JEX.
