Meanwhile, a pioneering bitcoin life insurance firm, has successfully raised $37.5 million in a funding round led by Bain Capital Crypto. This latest investment elevates the company’s total funding to over $180 million, signaling robust interest in bitcoin-denominated life insurance products.
The surge in demand for crypto estate planning solutions has prompted Meanwhile to launch its latest offering, BTC Life 1-Pay, aimed at high-net-worth clients outside the U.S. This innovative policy allows clients to pay a single premium in bitcoin, securing a guaranteed lifetime death benefit also denominated in bitcoin.
To facilitate its global expansion, Meanwhile has partnered with 15 international brokers, including notable firms such as Lioner and Apeiron Group, to reach affluent families in key financial hubs across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
