Retailers accepting crypto payments are increasing and most recently Independent Grocers of Australia (IGA), a major Australian supermarket network has started accepting payments in Bitcoin. IGA consist of over 1400 independent retailers stores, spread all over Australia and these stores are accepting payments in cryptocurrencies. According to reports, co-founder of TravelbyBit- Caleb Yeoh is working together with IGA Supermarkets Australia to equip each of its supermarket checkouts with a TravelbyBit’s point-of-sale (PoS) device that supports payments in Bitcoin, Ether (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and Binance Coin (BNB).
