A hacker sold a bogus Banksy NFT for 100 ETH and then returned the money. They published the auction on Banksy's official website. Someone hacked that site if the NFT was a forgery. Pranksy is the alias used by the scammed NFT collector, a play on words referencing the elusive graffiti artist Banksy combined with the word "prank." According to experts, Banksy is not responsible for the fake Banksy NFT.
