The German company Mercedes-Benz Group AG becomes the latest automotive business with moves in the metaverse. The company has filed five metaverse and NFT-related trademark applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). In November, the company suspended the sponsorship and removed the FTX logo from race cars after its Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing.
