The software security firm- Slovakian revealed that cyber fraudsters behind the Stantinko botnet are sharing the module of Monero cryptocurrency mining through Youtube. Eset reported that how Stantinko botnet operators increased their criminal activities by click fraud, ad injection, social network fraud, and password-stealing attacks, into installing crypto malware on victims' devices using Youtube. The Stantinko botnet has been operating its fraud activities since 2012 and majorly target Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan users.
