A recent Google Threat Horizon report revealed that hacked cloud accounts are being used to mine Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. The report also detailed the two common goals behind this activity were “obtaining profit” and “traffic pumping.” Other cyber threats that were identified are malware, hosting unauthorized content on the internet, spam, and launching DDoS bots.
