Binance US has completed the distribution of the Flare (FLR) airdrop to XRP holders on its platform. The airdrop was distributed on a 1:1 basis to all XRP holders who had a balance on Binance US as of December 12, 2020. The FLR airdrop was one of the largest in cryptocurrency history, with over 4.28 billion FLR tokens distributed to XRP holders. The airdrop was designed to reward XRP holders for their support of the Flare Network, a new blockchain platform that is designed to bring smart contracts and interoperability to XRP. The completion of the FLR airdrop on Binance US is a major milestone for the Flare Network and is expected to boost the adoption and use of both ecosystems.
