UK-based cryptocurrency platform Ziglu has secured £5 million in funding, valuing the company at £45 million. This investment will accelerate product development, European expansion, and the introduction of new investment offerings, including equities, commodities, and cash savings. Founded by Mark Hipperson, a co-founder of Starling Bank, Ziglu offers services such as buying and selling eleven cryptocurrencies, earning yield through 'Boost' products, and facilitating payments via a debit card. The company plans to launch Ziglu Coin, a rewards-based cryptocurrency, in Q2 2025. Users will be able to earn Ziglu Coin through the Ziglu app and ecosystem, unlocking rewards and benefits via an upcoming enhanced subscription programme.
