Dunamu, operator of South Korea’s Upbit, is partnering with Vietnam’s Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB Bank) to launch the nation’s first regulated domestic crypto exchange. Announced via an MoU on August 12, 2025, Dunamu will provide technology infrastructure, compliance systems, and investor protection measures, while MB Bank contributes its 33 million-strong customer base and regulatory expertise. The initiative aligns with Vietnam’s Digital Technology Industry Law, effective January 2026, aiming to establish the country as a key digital finance hub. The exchange will focus on transparency, security, and integration with local financial systems to boost blockchain adoption nationwide.
