Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Twitter and CEO of Block Inc., recently emphasized that Bitcoin's success hinges on its adoption for everyday transactions. Speaking on the "Presidio Bitcoin" podcast, Dorsey warned that if Bitcoin remains solely a store of value, it risks becoming irrelevant. He asserted, "I think it has to be payments for it to be relevant on the everyday." Dorsey advocates for developing user-friendly, fast, and secure payment solutions to integrate Bitcoin into daily financial activities, aligning with its original vision as a "peer-to-peer electronic cash system."
