The CryptoPunk 5293 non-fungible token (NFT) is the first to be accepted into a major art museum's collection. Eduardo Burillo, a trustee, donated it to the Institute of Contemporary Art in Miami. According to DappRadar, $2.5 billion worth of NFTs were sold in the first half of this year. This summer, the CryptoPunk will be on display at the ICA. He continued, "NFTs have a long and illustrious history in the art world."
