Tether Ventures, the investment arm behind stablecoin USDT, has led a €30 million funding round in Spanish crypto exchange Bit2Me, acquiring a minority stake. Bit2Me, the first Spanish-speaking fintech approved under the EU’s MiCA framework, now holds authorization to operate across all 27 EU states. The funding will drive expansion in Europe and Latin America, with a focus on Argentina, and enhance compliant, user-friendly crypto services. Despite Tether’s stake, Bit2Me will maintain operational independence under Spanish regulatory oversight. This partnership strengthens Tether’s presence in regulated markets while positioning Bit2Me as a leading crypto platform for Spanish-speaking and European users.
