SushiSwap has developed the next-generation automated market maker (AMM) for its Ethereum-based decentralised exchange (DEX) platform. By introducing several pool types and eliminating some of the siloed liquidity issues, the new AMM protocol design aims to optimise capital efficiency. Users will be able to choose the token price range they want to receive exchange fees in. It's not simply a fork. The protocol's new set of next-generation AMM remains open-source, which provides passive returns on deposited money.
