Strive, Inc. has significantly enhanced its bitcoin treasury by acquiring 1,107 BTC for $94.5 million, bringing its total holdings to 27,462 BTC. This strategic move positions Strive as the fifth-largest publicly traded bitcoin treasury firm.
CEO Matt Cole announced the acquisition on social media, revealing that the purchase occurred between September 21 and September 25. With this addition, Strive's bitcoin assets are now valued at approximately $2.3 billion, reflecting the company's commitment to digital assets.
In a recent SEC filing, Strive noted that its cash and cash equivalents increased from $229.6 million to $248.8 million following the purchase. The firm also reported that 85% of its total capital raised came from warrant exercises, underscoring its robust financial strategy.
Strive's stock, ASST, has seen a remarkable 32% increase over the past month, driven by investor enthusiasm for its expanding bitcoin holdings. Despite a slight dip in share price recently, the overall trend indicates strong market confidence in Strive's growth.
