Eleven crypto startups raised a combined total of $115.5 million in the fall of 2023, according to a report by Blockworks. The startups focus on a variety of areas, including gaming, custody, and institutional services. Proof of Play, an on-chain game studio, raised $33 million. Bastion, a crypto custody and digital asset trading services provider, raised $25 million. Jiritsu, a verifiable computing and asset tokenization platform, raised $10.2 million. Other notable fundraises include Fuze, Briya, CoinScan, GRVT, Freatic, Bubblemaps, Orb Technology, and BeWater. This funding boom is a sign of the growing interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
