Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko recently addressed a significant software bug that caused widespread network congestion and transaction failures. The glitch emerged after the Solana network's v1.14 upgrade, affecting over 70% of non-voting transactions. While the bug has been identified and patched, Yakovenko highlighted the challenges of addressing congestion-related issues, which require thorough testing before deployment. This is not the first time Solana has faced network problems, but the team is working on updates to improve reliability. Despite these setbacks, Solana remains focused on optimizing performance and minimizing future disruptions.
