Last month, pplpleasr, a popular NFT artist, and Fortune, a business periodical, conducted a novel experiment by creating Ethereum-based NFT magazine covers that might look different depending on who bid on them. At yesterday's exchange rates, that's over $658,000, or $1.3 million at the time of publication. Each organization including Reporters Without Borders, The Ground Truth Project, The Institute for Nonprofit News (INN), and The Committee to Protect Journalists received $165,000 worth of ETH.
