Stuart Alderoty, a partner at the law firm Covington & Burling and Ripple's XRP lawyer, has said that Brad Garlinghouse deserves to be CEO of the decade. Alderoty made the comments in a recent interview with CoinDesk TV. He said that Garlinghouse has shown "incredible leadership" at Ripple, and that he has "navigated the company through some very difficult times." Alderoty specifically mentioned the ongoing lawsuit between Ripple and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). He said that Garlinghouse has "stood up to the SEC" and that he has "fought for the rights of Ripple's customers." Alderoty also said that Garlinghouse has been a vocal advocate for the cryptocurrency industry. He said that Garlinghouse has "worked to educate regulators and policymakers about the benefits of cryptocurrencies."
