Quantum Blockchain Technologies is developing a new type of blockchain that is resistant to attack from quantum computers. Quantum computers are expected to be able to break the cryptographic algorithms that are currently used to secure blockchains, so it is important to develop new technologies to protect blockchains from quantum attacks. Quantum Blockchain Technologies' technology is based on a new type of cryptography called quantum key distribution (QKD). QKD uses the principles of quantum mechanics to generate a shared secret key between two parties. This key can then be used to encrypt and decrypt communications.
