After its first mint drop, Royal, a non-fungible token (NFT) platform created by American music producer 3LAU (pronounced "Blau"), failed. The mint was set to begin on January 11 at 1:00 p.m. ET and feature music NFTs from Grammy-winning rap star Nas, but it crashed a minute into the drop due to high user demand on the platform's servers, according to the platform's Twitter account.
