OpenSea, the world's largest NFT marketplace, reported that more than 80% of the NFTs minted utilising its free minting function were plagiarised, spam, or false. Apart from experiencing backlash from the community for the limit and for failing to prevent fraudulent transactions, OpenSea is also dealing with user interface flaws that can result in some NFTs being listed thousands of dollars below market value – with poachers taking advantage of the situation.
