After an NFT project from actress Mila Kunis sold out in 35 minutes, tokenized cats have once again wreaked havoc on the Ethereum network. At a price of 0.35 ETH per NFT, collectors snatched up the first batch of 10,420 NFTs at $804 apiece. It resembles the introduction of CryptoKitties, another cat-based NFT project that famously clogged the network in 2017.
