Israeli intelligence agency, the Shin Bet, has shut down a network of cryptocurrency accounts used by Hamas to raise funds. The Shin Bet tracked the accounts and identified the individuals behind them, then froze the accounts and seized the funds. Several individuals involved in the operation have been arrested. This is a significant development, as it shows that the Israeli government is committed to preventing Hamas from raising funds and carrying out terrorist attacks. The crackdown on Hamas's use of cryptocurrency is also a sign that the Israeli government is taking the threat of cryptocurrency-based terrorism seriously.
