Indian police busted a $2 million RSN crypto scam linked to Chinese operators. The fraud involved duping investors through fake investment schemes, converting funds into cryptocurrency (USDT), and transferring them abroad. Authorities arrested multiple suspects in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad, uncovering 65 bank accounts linked to 33 shell companies. The scam, operated remotely from Dubai and China, impacted around 15,000 victims, each losing $6,000–$7,200. Investigators traced transactions to a crypto wallet linked to Hezbollah. Police froze $1.3 million in accounts and continue efforts to recover stolen funds and identify more culprits behind the large-scale financial deception.
