A YouTuber and ethical hacker known as “mrwn” spent over a year infiltrating a Cebu-based crypto scam call center using brands like “Virtual Wealth Exchange” and “Solis Markets.” He gained full access to internal systems—including live CCTV feeds, agent desktops, emails, and recorded calls—capturing proof of a high‑yield Bitcoin fraud operation targeting victims worldwide. The hub reportedly scammed over $800 K annually and boasted weekly “30–40% returns.” After confronting the scammers on May 6, the center was deserted. His May 18 video went viral with millions of views, prompting Philippine authorities—the NBI, DICT, and CICC—to launch investigations.
