The Himachal Pradesh government has announced the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate and counter cryptocurrency scams in the state. The SIT will be headed by the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) of the Northern Range, Abishek Dullar. The decision to form the SIT was taken after the government received a number of complaints about cryptocurrency scams in the state. In recent months, there has been a growing trend of people being scammed by fraudulent cryptocurrency investment schemes. The SIT will be responsible for investigating all cryptocurrency scams that have taken place in the state and bringing the perpetrators to justice. The SIT will also work to raise awareness about cryptocurrency scams and educate the public about how to avoid them.
