Reportedly, Web3 startup Halliday has secured over $6 million in a new seed round led by Andreesen Horowitz (a16z) to change how gamers buy and use digital assets in virtual worlds. The funding round also saw the participation of Hashed, A.Capital, SV Angel, and other angel investors. With this funding, Hallidaywhich shares its name with Ready Player One protagonist James Halliday will offer gamers a "play now, pay later" option.
