A Georgia man says he is now suing Facebook for not deactivating his deceased Fresno army veteran brother's Facebook account that is being used for Crypto scamming. Scott Vreeland says he has reached out numerous times to corporate for months to let them know that hackers hijacked his account and for them to do something. Scott says his brother Sean died last year of a heart attack in December of 2022. Sean was a veteran of Fresno. He served in the Army Airborne Rangers during Operation Desert Storm. Shortly after in July, Scott says a hacker gained control of his brother's Facebook account and blocked relatives. Scott shares the hacker began constantly uploading posts asking people for money through a cryptocurrency scam on his page.
