Franklin Templeton has expanded its $410 million OnChain U.S. Government Money Market Fund (FOBXX) to the Ethereum blockchain, leveraging its scalability and extensive market presence. Originally launched in 2021, FOBXX utilizes blockchain technology to record transactions and verify ownership. The fund already operates on several blockchains, including Stellar, Coinbase's Base, Aptos, and Avalanche. Ethereum now joins this lineup, reinforcing its dominance in tokenized assets, holding approximately 71% of the tokenized treasury market.
