An Indian man, Chirag Tomar, pleaded guilty in a U.S. court for leading a massive crypto fraud that stole over $9.5 million by creating fake Coinbase websites. His fraudulent scheme involved mimicking the Coinbase Pro platform to steal login credentials and two-factor authentication codes from over 500 victims. The stolen cryptocurrency was transferred into his and his accomplices' accounts. The investigation revealed Tomar's lavish lifestyle, which included luxury cars and international travel.
