The FBI has concluded its nearly two-year investigation into Kraken co-founder Jesse Powell, returning seized electronic devices. The probe, unrelated to Kraken's operations, stemmed from allegations of hacking and cyberstalking at Verge Center for the Arts, a non-profit Powell helped found. Federal prosecutors have opted not to file charges. Powell consistently denied wrongdoing, asserting the dispute was a governance issue within Verge. He is also pursuing a civil lawsuit against Verge board members, claiming defamation. The returned devices reportedly contain information supporting his version of events.
